Stephen F. Austin Community Health Center (SFACHC) was established in 2008 to help provide healthcare services for the Alvin Community. As the years have progressed, our clinic has progressed. 2010 was a big year for SFACHC, we initiated our Women’s Health Program, opened our Dental Clinic and also started our Behavioral Health Department. In 2011 SFACHC then began the Psychiatry Department to help with the increasing need for psychiatric services in the county. With the expansion of services in Alvin, we soon began to see the need for services in other areas. In 2013 we launched our second site located in Freeport. We then changed our name to Stephen F. Austin Community Health Network (SFACHN) and soon changed the names of our current two locations to take on a community named clinic. Our Alvin clinic changed to Adoue Family Health Center and our Freeport clinic was named Freeport Community Health Center. As the years progress, we are excited to see what comes our way.
